Before or after Planting? Mycorrhizal and Bacterial Biostimulants and Extracts in Intense Strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duch.) Production

چکیده

The aim of this research was to evaluate the effect a combination several mycorrhizal and bacterial biostimulants, applied before after planting, on ‘Clery’ strawberry’s performance. Vegetative reproductive parameters (the number crowns per plant, root/canopy weight dimensions, fruits individual fruit weight, yield plant) were monitored nine harvest dates. Additionally, external internal quality (firmness, color, soluble solids content, primary secondary metabolites) determined. application product combinations resulted in significantly improved vegetative growth, weight. Consequently, more than 30% higher yields determined for treated plants. A minor decrease vitamin C (approx. 6%), total sugars 10%), organic acids 9%), phenolics 7%) detected plants, but differences not uniform during harvest. accumulation anthocyanins least affected by application, exhibited comparable color characteristics, which is important consumers. use biostimulants intense strawberry production justified as products improve development produce marketable fruit.

Chlorophyll fluorescence in two strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) cultivars Fluorescencja chlorofilu u dwóch odmian truskawki (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.)

The study of chlorophyll fluorescence (CF) parameters i.e.: Fo, Fm, Fv/Fm, Y, qP, qN, F’o, F’m was conducted in two strawberry cultivars ‘Honeoye’ and ‘Teresa’. Measurements of their values were done twice: in an early autumn and late spring. Fluorescence of five dark-adapted mature leaves derived from each cultivar was measured in the laboratory at room temperature with the use of a portable p...

New findings in strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duch.) anther culture

In this research, some independent experiments were carried out for investigating the effects of microspore developmental stage, bud pretreatments (cold, heat and Ca), and embryo induction medium on anther culture of some strawberry cultivars. The results showed that the percentages of responsive and embryogenic anthers in cultivar Paros in liquid medium were influenced not only by different de...

Strawberry (Fragaria ·ananassa Duch.) Growth and Productivity as Affected by Temperature

Thermotolerance of photosynthesis and productivity in Chandler and Sweet Charlie strawberry plants (Fragaria ·ananassa Duch.) exposed to three temperature regimes was studied. Net CO2 assimilation rate (A), variable chlorophyll fluorescence (Fv), efficiency of photosystem II (Fv/Fm), relative chlorophyll content, plant growth, and fruit yield and quality weremeasured. High temperature (40 C day...

Correlation between Strawberry (Fragaria ananassa Duch.) Productivity and Photosynthesis-Related Parameters under Various Growth Conditions

In the present study, we investigated changes in chlorophyll fluorescence, photosynthetic parameters and fruit yields, as well as fruit phytochemical accumulation of strawberry (Fragaria ananassa Duch.) that had been cultivated in a greenhouse under different combinations of light intensity and temperature. In plants grown with low light (LL) photosystem II chlorophyll fluorescence was found to...
